Our Location
Icogenex Bioincubator is conveniently located in the heart of Fremont with easy access to I-5 and Hwy 99. Our main reception is on the second floor of the facility.
Icogenex Bioincubator is a 10-minute drive from downtown Seattle and South Lake Union and one block from metro bus routes, the Burke-Gilman Trail and Zip Car locations.
Neighborhood
Fremont is an eclectic neighborhood with artistic roots that has become a home for many technology companies. Often referred to as "the center of the universe," companies like Google, Adobe, Ubermind, Phenopath Laboratories, and the Allen Brain Institute are just a block away. Our facility is located near centers of research excellence at University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, Benaroya Research Institute and the Institute for Systems Biology.
Parking
There is prepaid covered parking on the corner of N 34th Street and Evanston Ave N and street parking one block south of N 34th Street on Evanston Ave N and N Northlake Way for $5, $7 or $10. (No credit cards are accepted in these meter boxes.) Free parking on N 34th Street between Evanston Ave N and Phinney Ave N for up to 2 hours may also be available.
Driving Directions
From Everett, Bellingham, Vancouver B.C. and points North
Take I-5 S to exit 169 toward NE 45th St. Merge onto 5th Ave N and take the first right onto NE 45th St. Continue .9 miles and turn left onto Stone Way N. Go .9 miles and turn right onto N 34th St.Stay in the right lane to cross the intersection at Fremont Ave N. Icogenex is a block and a half farther on the right.
From Tacoma, Olympia and Points South
Take I-5 N to exit 167 on the left toward Seattle Center and continue straight onto Mercer St. Go three blocks and turn right onto Westlake Ave N. Continue 1.6 miles and turn right onto 4th Ave N to cross the Fremont Bridge. Turn left at the first light onto N 34th St and continue one and a half blocks. Icogenex will be on the right.
From Redmond and Points East via WA 520
Take WA-520 W toward Seattle. After crossing the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge (which has a toll) that the Montlake Boulevard exit and merge onto Montlake Blvd E. After crossing the Montlake Bridge, turn left onto NE Pacific St. At the T intersection, turn right onto 6th Ave N which is directly under I-5. At the stop sign turn left onto NE 40th St and then immediately turn left again to continue onto NE Pacific Street. NE Pacific Street curves right at Gas Works Park and becomes N 34th Street. Stay in the left lane to go straight at Stone Way N. Stay in the right lane to go straight at Fremont Ave N. Icogenex is a block and a half farther on the right.
From Issaquah and Points East via I-90
Take I-90 W toward Seattle and take exit 2C to merge onto I-5 N toward Vancouver B.C. Take exit 167 on the left toward Seattle Center and continue straight onto Mercer St. Go three blocks and turn right onto Westlake Ave N. Continue 1.6 miles and turn right onto 4th Ave N to cross the Fremont Bridge. Turn left at the first light onto N 34th St and continue one and a half blocks. Icogenex will be on the right.
